Can I substitute bottled lime juice for fresh lime juice in this Key Lime Pie Smoothie recipe?

Yes, you certainly can! While fresh lime juice provides a bright, tangy flavor, using bottled lime juice is a convenient alternative that still delivers delicious results. I’ve tested it myself and the taste is just as amazing.

Can I use almond milk instead of coconut milk?

If you’re looking to switch things up from your regular plant-based milk, try swapping in almond milk for coconut milk in this Vegan Key Lime Pie Protein Smoothie recipe. While the consistency may be slightly different, it’s still a delicious alternative that will give you that zesty lime flavor you’re looking for.

What type of protein powder can I use in the Vegan Key Lime Pie Smoothie?

You can use any plant-based protein powder that you prefer, whether it’s pea protein, hemp protein, or brown rice protein. Vegan Key Lime Pie Protein Smoothie

I often have a smoothie for breakfast because it’s fast, easy and just makes me feel energized all day long. It’s also one of my favourite vegan post-workout snacks for those same reasons! But, when you make the same plant-based smoothie every single morning the love for vegan smoothies can start to fade. The answer is to mix it up with this dessert flavoured key lime pie smoothie!
This can actually be considered a vegan greens smoothie because of the added spinach. If you’re not a fan of powerful green plant smoothies, don’t worry you can’t even taste the spinach in this one. It’s an adult and kid-friendly vegan breakfast idea or snack that’s gluten-free and packed full of protein and veggies.
