Ingredients
  

  • 1 part cornstarch
  • 1 part cold water

Instructions
 

  • Mix the cornstarch and water together thoroughly right before adding into a sauce, gravy, stew, soup or anything else you'd like to thicken.
  • If you are using 1 tbsp of cornstarch use 1 tbsp of cold water.

Notes

Cornstarch slurry needs to be added when the dish or sauce is already heated as cornstarch requires heat in order to activate its thickening properties. It can be used to thicken soups, stews, sauces, gravies, and much more.
