Best Easy Vegan Gravy Recipe

Vegan Gravy

This vegan “turkey” gravy is such a game changer because it’s SO easy and comes together in less than 5 minutes! The flavor of this Easy Vegan Gravy Recipe is delicious and makes the perfect plant-based gravy to top vegan mashed potatoes, poutine, biscuits, vegan pot-pie, stuffing, or any vegan holiday feast.

Now, don’t get me wrong I love a good mushroom gravy but sometimes I just don’t have the ingredients or the time to make it. This Easy Vegan Gravy Recipe also has a bit of a milder flavour, making it the perfect substitute for a KFC vegan gravy or a plant-based “turkey” gravy.

Q: Can vegan gravy be made gluten free?

A: Absolutely! Just sub in all purpose gluten free flour, and tamari or coconut aminos instead of soy sauce.

Q: How long does vegan gravy last?

A: This meat-free gravy can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container. It may be a little thick when you re-heat, so water can be added to thin it out.

This is an oil-free, butter free vegan gravy and the flavour is there without any extras. But if it’s a holiday, and you want to make this gravy EXTRA decadent, just throw in 1 tbsp of vegan butter.
